Video: Because of You
This song by Kelly Clarkson is about being conditioned by the past. We can listen to "will" for predictions, present perfect, past simple and vocabulary about feelings. If students watch the original video they might try to guess the story of a child who, once grown up, tends to repeat the same mistakes her parents made. Then they can discuss what kind of fears they inherited from their family. There is a fill in the gaps exercise but no transcript.
